Morningsometimes stumbles to my doorstep when drunk. he will either sit there ‘till I wake him next afternoon, or remember how to break in through the back patio window.Morning
if he enters, he will stagger through the foyer and the kitchen. if I am not roused by dropped pots, he will reach the couch where I lay from stargazing the night before, sit at my feet in his stupor, and curl his body to mine.
sometimes I will wake to his touch, other times it will feel natural like the silk skin of men in dreams that make virgin thighs burn and sweat.

There is nothing contextual about the aesthetics of you; Prehistory knew nothing of supple, smooth curves. Their women were sore, broken-backed, swollen incubators with heads hung, arms folded in obedient shame: plow mules of procreation. You appear brazen, dexterously carved over years, chiseled from caresses-- the deft hands of any reincarnation of Rembrandt.
II. Black-Figure Pottery
Midnight: bedroom kilns meld porous girls with grainy boys. Morning: cold-air reveals black glaze; sobriety lights the designs of intent.
